Rocky Hill is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Rocky Hill follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Parking is good, so long it is not packed. You will have to look for street parking otherwise. The food is really good and we usuallyt get the Short Rib Mac & Chesse - very tasty. The burgers are usually good especially the Pub Burger or the Royale. The Service has become a problem - at least for the last time we visited. Let me explain and forgive me if this is just an oversight but the last two times my wife have gone to this spot - we have been seated far from everyone and pretty much isolated while new customers would be seated towards the front of the restaurant or with others. To be clear, we are hispanic and this is the SECOND time this happens. Again, we are hoping this is not common but for the time being, we will not be returning. Why? Because to add fuel to the fire, our waitress was very cold, and dry with us. The busboys were very polite and friendly - just to be transparent. Again, the food is good, the service on the last two times was a miss by the staff (or even maybe just the hosts as there were two out front), parking is OK, but we cannot return to a place where we are pushed to the back and away from everyone else weven when it was NOT packed.

It's memorable eating in such a historical place. Two of us ordered Rocky Hill Inn Burger, $20, recommended by the waiter, Cast Iron Skillet Corn bread $10, Caesar $10. The burger had apple wood smoked bacon, grilled onion, cheddar, sunny side egg. The meat had 8 oz, very juicy, and tasty. Corn bread was very good, served in a iron skillet; we loved the hot honey butter, yummy. Service was very good. And there were quite some customers around 7pm on Monday night.

Found this lil gem today and it was dynamic! When we arrived there were only a few tables being served, yet by the time we were leaving the folks were rolling in ;). Brandon was our server and a very friendly young man ~ as well as the host and our food runner. The atmosphere is quaint and nicely kept. The food? My larger than life husband enjoyed his "Rocky Hill burger" and my short ribs with mac n' cheese ~ DELICIOUS! Mine was app sized, yet more than filling ;). Even a bit to bring home. I recommend giving them a try ~ I do NOT believe you'll be disappointed!! YES ~ will return to feast there in the future ;)

Another great dinner with my wife! Rocky Hill Inn did not disappoint as one of the best burger places in NJ. Both burgers had fresh ingredients and a nice char. Cooked to a perfect medium. No real complaints, maybe a little crispier bacon and the bun was a little mushy. Overall score was 9/10 for me. My wife has great taste, said it was a little on the blander side, she got the Royale Burger and I got the Pub Burger. Fries were generously portioned and very yummy. French onion soup was great starter, would definitely recommend. Pro Tip: Reservations are made only on the phone, have to call before hand. I walked in on 5 oβclock on Saturday and waited 40 mins for a table. Also service was very quick and polite!

We enjoyed a leisurely lunch on the porch along with our dog. The waitress was extremely friendly and brought the dog bacon cheese and water! The food was delicious and we were not rushed at all. They are known for their burgers but we all ordered the pot pies and were very happy with them.
